Chemgrip® Cement & Treating Agent
Chemgrip® products allow bonding of TFE (Teflon®) and other fluoropolymers.
Chemgrip® Treating Agent is a specially formulated high flash point sodium etching solution that makes the materials surface bondable. It is sold in pint, quart or gallon sizes. A quart of Treating Agent will cover approximately 100 square feet of surface.
Chemgrip® Cement, a special two part epoxy adhesive, will bond treated TFE and other fluoropolymers to all common materials, such as wood, metals, glass, ceramics and more, with a strength approaching that of the fluorocarbons themselves. Chemgrip® cement part A is red and part B is amber. Sold in pint sets, each set covers approximately 80 square feet of material.
